AAASE Announces 2025–2026 Executive Board Election Results
June 1, 2025 — The Asian American Academy of Science and Engineering (AAASE) Junior Board is pleased to announce the results of its 2025–2026 Executive Board elections, conducted via the secure online platform OpaVote. Each candidate gave a short campaign speech or presentation that covered their contributions to the AAASE junior board and their future ideas or proposals for future junior board activities. The election saw robust participation, with 10 out of 11 eligible members casting their votes. The elections utilized the STV method, ensuring a fair and representative outcome.
All candidates secured their positions in the first round of voting, reflecting a strong consensus from the membership.
AAASE extends its gratitude to all candidates and members who participated in the election process. The organization looks forward to a productive and impactful term under the leadership of the new executive board.

HIGH SCHOOL NATIONAL COMPETITION CHAMPIONS
The Asian American Academy of Science and Engineering (AAASE) Inaugural Annual Summit and Fellow Induction Ceremony took place this past November! Notably, team Rover, one of the two teams that advanced from the high school presentation competition that occurred at the AAASE Stanford camp, achieved first, making them the first ever National Champions!

JUNIOR BOARD WEST AT AAASE INNAGURAL SUMMIT
The AAASE Junior Board members at the past Inaugural Summit were incredibly busy! Throughout the event, board members conducted interviews with many notable speakers, such as 12th United States Secretary of Energy Steven Chu.
It wasn't all work however, as a small reunion organized by AAASE Junior West also occurred following the Inaugural summit!
